Who I Am

I'm Yendri Casado, founder of Journey to Hired and an HR Director with nearly a decade of experience across recruiting, HR business partnering, and HR leadership in the manufacturing industry. I've reviewed thousands of resumes, sat in hundreds of hiring rounds, made offers, and rejected candidates — and I watched qualified people get passed over for reasons no one ever explained to them.

That asymmetry — the gap between what hiring teams know and what candidates are told — is why JTH exists.

Why this exists

Most career advice is written by people who've never made a hiring decision. The result is generic guidance that misses how the call actually gets made. The candidates I most wanted to help were qualified people who'd done the work but kept getting nothing back. They didn't need cheerleading — they needed insider perspective on how to position themselves for roles they were already capable of holding. That's what we're building.
